Austin, Texas, U...
I made this dress as a sew along with my friend Madelyn. You can see our sew along on my blog here: http://www.schoolofmoxie.com/?s=simplicity+2305
This isn’t normally a style I would choose, but I get a ton of compliments when I wear this dress. It has some funky design & construction elements, but it also has a very fashion-forward silhouette that works well for most body types.
The material is a silky-type blend that is reclaimed fabric from a gifted fabric stash. I normally wouldn’t gravitate toward a print like this, but other people seem to love it when I wear it! (I should probably try more materials like this.)
