I used Simplicity pattern #1965 to make this skirt. I love the ease of making this skirt. It has front pockets and a nice waist band. I cut out the size 12 and used the 5/8" seam allowance called for but had to take it out and only use a 1/4" seam allowance to get the fit right. Next one I will cut in the larger size and should have no problems. The fit is great! Will be making more of these for sure. On my way now to look for some slightly stretchy fabric to make the next one out of. Happy Sewing everyone.
