Simplicity 1693

This blouse is a great one-day project! Perfect for beginners, too. It has a super simple shape and can be made with a variety of fabrics. I used up a small bit of light weight cotton, but I’d like to use up some lace for this, too. You don’t have to install any zippers or button holes — just a simple thread loop for a button closure at the back neck. Collar is optional.

Material Notes

I used cotton (love cotton!) but you could use just about anything for this blouse.

So pretty! I have this and made one up but unfortunatly. i made it a teensy wee bit small, but you’re right it is an easy, simple pattern, must try it again1

Thanks!! :) I will cheer for you to retry the pattern — it makes for a super easy blouse and you will love it. I’ve actually been experimenting with jersey knits lately and I wonder if I can make another of these in a stretchy knit. Knits are always easier to get on and off. It might be worth trying??
