Made with Simplicity 2250. First jacket I’ve ever made. If you, too, are a jacket newbie then this is the perfect pattern to try. I love the simple shape and it’s a perfect fit without any adjustments. The inside is partially lined with some leftover cotton I had. Too bad it’ll be too hot to wear this outside in about a month. Texas is so hot in the summer.
denim, cotton

Such a nice job for a first jacket! I want one lol :)
It gets hot here too in Alabama. Sweltering, Ugh.

That jacket is really fantastic! It’s got such a perfect fit and it looks so elegant on you! I absolutely love it and I think you did a terrific job. I’ll keep your advice of using the same pattern when I decide to venture my way into jacket sewing!
