I made this shell from Pattern 116 Burda Style March 2006. The construction is simple but the fit is very important. The shell has a hidden zipper in the back. I made my top with silk and added embroidery stitch to the bias tape that finishes the neck, sleeve, and lower hem for a dressy look.
Depending on the material chosen, the top can be casual, classical or elegant.
