Kuala Lumpur, Ma...
Salwar kameez made using fabric gifted by my in-laws for anniversary. I managed to wear it only today, better late than never isn’t it.
Used shift pattern sloper (self-drafted) to check test fit and worked out fine. Adaptations are so easy when the basic sloper fits isn’t it. I am elated. I can see how many variations i can do this sloper. My wardrobe will soon be full of shift dresses and shift dress inspired kameez and kurtas.
Trouser it basic trouser pant with bit wide legs at bottom ( i prefer them over normal salwar pants, which end up look baggy on my lean frame). They have side zipper and elasticated back waist
