A major sewing goal of mine this year is to work on improving my finishing techniques. I made this simple elastic waistband skirt, which allowed me a chance to practice making French seams. I’m proud to say that not only do I like the outside of my new skirt, but I like the inside too!
I included some instructions for making this skirt, which would make for a great beginner project. This is my first try at a tutorial so if something is unclear just let me know and I’ll try to clarify.

-Around 1 yard of fabric, maybe a little less, maybe a little more depending on your measurements
