At first, I wanted to make a proper pleated skirt from this fabric, or maybe a kilt-like one. However, I realised it would be boring with the muted colours of this fabric. So I made this, very simple skirt: big pleats set in place only at the high waistband. I arranged the pleats to hide most of the lilac stripe in the plaid. Skirt has a lining.
1 meter of wool plaid, lining, blind zipper, fusible cotton interfacing
