Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This a project I do with my students each year – This year I thought I would add in some fabric dying to the task. I used Bleached Calico for the bag and dyed the fabric using a fibre reactive dye, set with non-iodised salt.
This Bag is so easy to make you could make it in any sturdy fabric – denim would be really nice!
Material Notes
Bleached Calico, fibre reactive dyes, non-iodised salt.
A little trick I learnt from Kenneth D. King double thread the top of your machine when top-stitching, you will get a really professional finish!
