It was quite surprise when I was cleaning my room one day and eyed a plastic bag with some black fabric in it. I completely forgot I had bought this fabric quite a while ago, and it was perfect timing when I found it because I wanted to make myself a solid black skirt. This skirt is completely self-drafted, made it up as i was going along. I resorted back to my favorite skirt style, the circle skirt, and did a half circle skirt. I then drafted my own waistband by measuring my waist. I did box pleats on the front and back to get the skirt to fit the waistband instead of gathering the skirt in, a simple centered zipper in the back, and a button closure on the waistband. I also added pockets, because pockets just make any clothing item better! For full details head on over to my other world
