A silver doublet for a LARP game!
This is base on a 17th century man’s doublet, redrafted for the female figure and pieced for the panels.
The main fabrics came out of my stash. The silver tinfoil is a nylon knit base with a laminated layer over it rather like space blanket material. It is underlined with cotton calico. The brocade is a polyester ecclesiastical brocade with Lurex threads. The whole thing is lined with white cotton sateen and embellished with metallic silver braid and frog closures.
