This dress is the best of both worlds… comfortable and classic! I used our Jersey Cowl Top pattern as a base, and simply flipped it around for this back cowl style. There is something so elegant about a cowl in the back of a dress, and I saw a perfect opportunity when I made this pattern. I will of course try out this pattern with a front cowl because it fit so well!
I used a shimmery silver knit fabric for the main of my dress, and I also added a bit of contrast with a black mesh panel. This project is for my December Mash Up, so be sure to check it out for my full start to finish process. I can’t wait to wear this dress out on the town, and make more since it was such a quick sew.
