Random improvised quilt started 2 years ago and finally completed. It is my first quilt ever… please be kind.
It began as a gift for one girl-baby, but now her little boy-baby brother is on his way… so it’s for both of them. As for my quilting skills (or lack thereof)… I’ve learned so much since 2009 about quilting and sewing that it’s pretty horrifying to look at some of the squares not lining up… the back vs. front not lining up. But, as my husband reminds me… the babies won’t mind. Then, neither will I. My positive takeaways: Great use of scraps and lots of alignment techniques learned.
