New York, New Yo...
I used the classic Scout T-shirt pattern from Grainline Studio to make this cute top. The striped fabric is silky, but probably polyester ( I got it from my Grandmother-former seamstress). I used french seams, and pinked the armhole seams. The stripes are matched at the side seams and I used the pattern on the edge of the fabric for the sleeves. The binding at the inside neckline was a little tricky, but the instructions were clear and it came out pretty well. I also added and inch to the sleeve hems and tapered the side seams 1/2 an inch each for a more boxy look (when sewn together 1" is removed from each side total)
I love it and can’t wait to make more!
