I made this using a manequim pattern- found here .
I love how it turned out! The instructions were in portuguese, though, and translating them was pretty much a disaster, so I just translated only what I absolutely had to, and winged the rest :) And to think I almost learned portuguese in college! Should have followed through with it!

Great top! I’m glad I came across your version. This pattern is currently in my queue for spring, but I wasn’t sure about the sizing. Is their sizing the same as the Burda sizing? Thanks!

Yes, I used my regular burda size, but it was just a bit small (I like the fit, but it’s difficult to get in to). You may want to size up 1. Also, it only comes in sizes 38 & 42 just so you’re aware. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I much prefer knits to blouses, but I love how this turned out :) I found it true to size, although I graded down to a 34. It’s a bit difficult to get into because of the side zipper, and it’s slim (and my fabric had no stretch). I like the way it fits though. Normally I have to take tops in around the waist, and didn’t have to here!
Things to watch out for: the length- I lengthened 2" and it’s still too short! Also, lengthen the ruffle piece 3-4". The ends are supposed to meet in the middle, but mine don’t! The dart placement was a bit high on me as well, so watch that. Good luck! I recommend a muslin :)

Beautiful and not too flashy. I love the fit of the blouse and also the ruffles around the neckline.

Thank you so much! No- how cool would that be? I live close to the city, but my mom works on the farm where these pictures were taken. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I also take some pictures at my parents’ house sometimes, and they have some perfect spots!

Oh, it’s a lovely blouse! And great work translating the instructions and winging it… I’ve been browsing their patterns (I love them) but havn’t had the guts to try them yet…. I’m impressed!

Very chic. I tried that site and oh well. Well not I might go back. Might. I only speak English and enough Spanish to get by in a simple conversation. :? Oh yeah. I just went to the site again…Now I know why I was discouraged agin! The patterns are jumbled. Am I supposed to undo the jumble? I can probably go it alone with out directions but I will most def need to get those pieces unscrewd. HEEELLLLPPPP!
