This is the first piece I finished for my collection which focus on evening wear, but in a casual way. This top highlight a draped shoulder, made in beautiful a silk cotton blend fabric which stands perfectly for this garment. It is also lined in the same material for a better feel.
I personally created the pattern for this. I’d really appreciate any comment and suggestion. Thank you :)
If you have any question regarding this top, whether it’s for purchasing or just interested in the creation process, please feel free to contact me :)

i really love it. the drape definitely caught my eye. i’d love to get the pattern and make it myself.
btw, the topstitching at the arm hole…exquisite :)

Thanks :)
Regarding the top stitching, I can’t sew as perfect as professional seamstress, but I tried my best. there’s no short cut around it besides using your iron carefully. With this top, the ironing is key.

I love it – it’s luxurious and yet can be casual. The only thing – I would have made it in other colours too – maybe it’s because it’s a photo, but the draping from the shoulder is not visible very well on black. As I said, it could be just because it’s a photo – in reality it’s probably better, but it would still be a good idea (I think) to make several in other colours too! :-)
