Two the most simple patterns turned out to be my most challenging outfit yet. I don’t know if it’s silk’s fault due to the difficulty to work with it, or lack of clear plan of the dress but it took me over two month to complete it, when it usually takes me one-two days to complete the garnment. Anywho, it’s finished, and I think I like it:). I used two free Burda patterns and combined them into a dress. I had to cut out a lot of access fabric to make it fit right, the top was way too big under the arms and around the neck. I don’t know if I’m gonna be working again with those patterns.
100% silk by Betsey Johnson. Invisible zipper, ribbon.
