I made this gown last year and only just got the pics from my very happy client. Its a silk satin gown, fully boned bodice with lacing in the back, it had a 3 meter train and a veil just as long. I made the skirt to bustle up so it would make it easier for her to move around after the church ceremony. The skirt had lots of netting gathered up and sewn onto the lining, she also hired a hoop to wear.I made the patterns with toiles for fittings to get the fit perfect, then cut out the real fabric. Seeing how happy she was just makes me realise why I keep doing and loving what I do. I also made the mother of the groom’s 3 piece suit with beaded trim on the jacket sleeves and cami neckline aswell as his sister’s lemon evening gown.
Silk satin, lining, underlining canvas, boning, netting and swarovski crystals
