I made this loose fitting, longer length, racer back tank top from McCalls 6359 sewing pattern. I made French seams throughout, and did the inset yoke back using a small piece of lace material.
I have some 3/8" wide lambskin leather double fold trim on hand, so I used this to trim the neckline and armholes.
Next time I make this great tank top, I will widen the bust line and armhole area, as well as the hip area for a more comfortable fit. I might also play with the racer back yoke inset with material, texture and color. This could even turn into a dress very easily!
Nice top for layering, or on its own. I love sewing and making little luxuries such as this top! More on my blog www.odetosew.com
