Description

this fabric inspired me like no other fabric before!
this top its my second made in silk! for this one I used printed silk and black silk
top have now two faces to wear :-)
I made also for the black face of the top a silk jewelry, using printed silk and silk fringe and glued glitter for the back side. I made this shape for this jewelry inspired by the model from top, I split in two the printed silk from face to make it more detailed and I saw this heart shape or angel wings and I like it a lot. it was hard work to fit the model cause fabric its very slippery.
for the back side with printed silk I kept the model full, so when I wear on that side its nice surprise to see the black face and totally surprising model on back :-)
also with this fabric I made a clutch that you can see here
http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/silk-and-velvet-clutch
Also I made an oversized scarf from same beautifull silk, SEE last photo

thank you for watching!

ohhh how beautiful !! Everything you made is just fabulous, wish I had your imagination ! The fabric is really so special. I actually copied this pattern when it first came out, but got so confused with the instructions, that I never finished it, but now I am definitely giving it a go again :-))

Thank YOU :-) i never fallow instructions cause are so twisting and confuding and make more Bad than good :-) but this is so easy to make, imagine your self two tops that YOU mare stich on sides leaving shoulders OPEN, put tops inside eachother face on face and stich the arms line and neck line. Stich also the hem but leave a small part to turn the top upside down. I hand stich the shoulders line and same with small part left OPEN from hem. Thats all :-)

Ps. If YOU dont want to make the front line from the middle, YOU can do very easy, this wont Affect your top, I kept it to make top more interesting :-) but Ive made another top with this pattern without front line cause I found No use to keep it :-)

Great to see someone else post this favourite pattern of mine. Love the fabric. Great artistic idea with the necklace. The pattern works well as a dress too, I made it in a missoni-ish print.
