Silk Georgette Pintucked Blouse

Added Mar 31, 2014

by slmnstyle

Portland, Oregon...

I made this top from Butterick 5997 pattern in a silk georgette from Nanette Lepore that I bought at Fabric Depot in Portland, OR. I made view D with the long sleeves of view D of this pattern. The top was not too difficult to sew, accept the pintucks were a bit tricky to get marked on the fabric, evenly spaced and sewn straight. I made french seams throughout and made my own covered buttons for the sleeve cuff. I am very happy with my new top!
