  Hi, I have been thinking to order this pattern. What whas your size according to sizing chart and what was the right one? I think how much smaller I should choose.

    I think do the size that you are in the shops and it’s about right, so I’m roughly a 10 in the pattern even if they say a 10 = a 22" waist. I can’t remember exactly though ‘cause I’ve not got the pattern with me!

    Well my probles is that I am European and I wear european size 36 and don’t know which one it is in USA. So I viewed the sizing chart and the measurements, but if you think it is too large… But do you recommend doing maybe one size smaller than the sizing chart suggests?

    Heyy I think that’d be about a size 8 but I’m sorry I don’t have the pattern with me so I can’t check!!

    You are welcome – and I had noticed long ago that it would be a dress that would need to fit perfectly or there would be no point making it. So I understand you very well and congratulate you on the results! I didn’t even try to buy the pattern, for it would take A LOT of adjusting to fit me, but I do love it and your dress is one of its best “incarnations”! :-)

    Yeah I really like the sleeves, they’re pleated one way and ruffled the other and they’re only half round sleeves, like cap sleeves, with a little slit in the side! Complicated but worth it! Suprisingly the shoes are NewLook from a few seasons ago when girl brogues were hot, but I love them! Shoes make an outfit!
