I’m making at the moment too! I’m a little behind you – I’ve just fitted the toile and amazingly only a little reduction around the waist needed – otherwise it’s a great fit. Can’t wait to see your final version! Did you buy the Gretchen tutorial on Craftsy?

My muslin took forever to fit properly. I had to increase the cup size, raise the center point and style lines, raise the back, and make a whole new skirt pattern because I didn’t think the one in the pattern suited me at all. It’s be a long process, but totally worth every minute!!
I can’t wait to see yours also :) Have you selected your final fabric yet?
Yes, I did buy the Craftsy course. I found it really helpful for the most part. I don’t know if I could have finished it otherwise. It’s a pretty intricate pattern.

Hih Hillary and thanks for the friend add :) I bought the tutorial too and it really is fantastic – just a shame you can’t ask Gretchen questions anymore. I have indeed got my final fabric – it’s original 50s blue cotton with a fairly large white polka dot. And I want to make another with some tiki flamingo print that I have too.
It’s a stunning bodice though, isn’t it? And yes I’m glad of the help from the tutorial too – I even managed to find the cup padding locally and wouldn’t have thought of it on my own.
