Description

This project too is a couple years old. Straight, simple blouse made from natural silk with some patchwork effect. Probably looking like created from scraps. :)
Basic dress pattern used. Breast darts, closure on the back, armhole and neckline facing. The jabot I made on my own weird way.

Material Notes

silk, stabilizer

how beautiful is this ! Must admit I didn’t know what a “Jabot” is, I imagine it’s the ruffles, which give the blouse that little bit of extra. Nice material also, very versatile, although the combination with the black skirt is really elegant and classy, especially the tucked in version.

I think your fabric choice works really well – the diagonal stripes are such a contrast with the frills of the jabot. Fabulous!

Looks great on you and the jabot is a lovely finish to your top.
