finally, i can start posting things again, after beeing really busy sewing all the time. – The first piece, i want to show to you is a blouse made in 100 % silk in a color, i would describe as lilac with a little shine into green.
The pattern for the blouse it self is selfmade. The “colar-solution” comes from the fantastic book: Patternmagic.
I am really happy with the result, as it has a very simple and chic look and the material can stand for itself, as it is so beautiful.
The only real highlights have been set to the colar and to one of the cuffs (with an emboidered monogram)
hope you all are going to like it :-)
pure silk in lilac, mother of pearl buttons, embroiderythread

Oh my Ralf this is wonderful. That collar is so cool. And I bet that fabric feels amazing. I was a lucky girl at Christmas and got an embroidery machine. I haven’t even attempted the embroidery facilities yet but seeing your gorgeous monogram has inspired me to get stuck in!

Ralf, this blouse is beautiful and I love the architecture of the collar. The embroidery is a very special finish to a very elegant blouse. This silk is called shot silk I think and I also like how 2 colours reveal themselves depending on the light.

dear elinl! pattern magic is from tomoko nakamichi and it is avalible in english! i made the collar on page 60 (with two destinct expressions) and i really think, that it is so well explained, that even i could follow the instructions :-)
