i’ve made this blouse for my sister with a piece of light blue silk of my grandma…i’ve never sewn silk before, but this summer i had sewn jersey (with not-so-terrible results), so i think i was ready for another challenge!
i think it came out good, even if it is a little large in the armholes…
i’m really proud of it, especially of the button:i’ve covered it with the fabric following the tute by MarmotaB here on Burdastyle (i say it here because i have some problems with the credit parts..;) )

Bellissima. I saw it on Burda but thought it would loke nice only on the stick-thin model. I love it in grey. It’s a must do! Question: did you find the ruffles difficult?

that’s the 3rd one of these tops i’ve seen and all so lovely in their own way. this is totally my style of blouse. i think i’m going to have to order a back issue of this magazine now!!!
