Made with a silk blend lining in a biscuit colour, and layered with cotton lace.
This skirt has become a favourite in my wardrobe, but it’s also very precious as the fabrics were not cheap. It moves beautifully and can be dressed up or down – I really felt very country chic in the outfit in the photos! Sadly the weather was raining on and off so we had to go for ‘doorway’ photos – sigh

Beautiful! I’m impressed you had the courage to sew with expensive fabrics, I always go on the cheap side because I’m afraid to ruin the fabric and be even more disappointing! I love the skirt, It’s classic and flattering. Great Job!

I have an unfortunate addiction to expensive fabrics, and a shocking level of fearlessness. I make a lot of expensive mistakes, but they can be so worth it!
