Cut out the two lower parts of the skirt side, including the seam allowances. You will use them in the inverted box pleats. Cut a rectangle that mesures the same lenght as the panels at the longer sides and is 5 cm wide. Draw a line in the middle lenghtwise, this will be also the staight grain. Draw two more lines on both sides of this line 1,5 cm far from it. These are the lines where you should tape the side panels.
