This is our second variation of the Sidonie skirt. A little less curvy than its predecessor it plays with geometric lines and symmetry sporting cool pleats on each side. In order to make this rather elegant and chic version, you need to download our new BS-023 pattern as well as the original 8281. Good luck and show us what you have made out of it!

Such a beautiful pattern. I also have to say that the rest of the model’s outfit as well as the setting is spot-on. I can’t wait to make it.

Where can I get that metallic bronze belt? It’s just fabulous and goes so well with the mint green fabric.

How did you line up the pattern on the pleated pieces? should one side go straight along the edge?

it’s really pretty! and cashmere makes it a very elegant skirt. the invisible pocket is just what I need. I’ll give it a try!
Which size does the model wear?

I love it! The first version didn’t do much for me, but the added pleats and diagonal seams are fantastic!

Dang it! I’ve been working on something similar for the mini-sew along (except my pleats go all the way to the top). Ah well, I guess it’s an excuse to make another sidonie!

Sabzy, you can find the original pattern at: http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/3595
Or, if you use the dropdown box on the Patterns page and select Skirts. It will show up on the first page (if you sort by newest date).
Hope that helps! :-)
