This is my new years eve dress. I already knew exactly what I wanted to make. It’s a spin off of my 2012 spring scarf dress, but I was so excited that I rushed though focusing more on the draping and less on the direction of the pattern :P
In the end it still came out wonderfully! Although I would have probably looked a little slimmer if the pattern would have been going up and down instead of sideways, lol :D
I used a vintage Vera scarf as the neck piece. I love mixing and “matching” prints. I’m hoping to find some purple shoes to tie it all together but black looks just as good. It’s super sexy on with the gathers on the back and along the side of the thigh. I still need to hem it but I thought i’d share it now otherwise I may never get it posted.
Have a happy and safe new years everyone!!! I’ll post pics of my final look so check back for added pics early next year!!! <3 L
