This is an improvisation on a A-line wrap skirt I designed. I call it the Off-Road skirt because I don’t ever know where I will end up when I make it. This time I sl;ashed and spread the front and then re-pleated it to fit my body by pinning it to fit. I made a massive error and cut the back out with the wrong side up. GAH. Because the pieces are asymmetrical, they have to be cut out with the right side up. I decided to just go with it and pretend I wanted the back to be a different color than the front.

It’s a Bob Ross moment: “a happy little accident”! Everything about this skirt is awesome: I may have to give you the sincerest form of flattery and make a copy myself.

I apply the same ‘design by mistake’ techniques as you do ;) I love it, keep up the good work :)

At the moment my “pattern” is a piece of interfacing that I cut up and tape back together. If I ever get it into a pdf. I will contact you.
