pattern for this dress came from march issue of burda magazine 2009
i loved the dress the moment i first saw it five years ago
and have no idea why it took me so long to finally make it
while five years ago this dress would be a bit tricky for me to pull off
nowadays it’s a pretty easy task
even in such a free will fabric as rayon challis
i skipped the lining (because i plan to wear this dress over a slip)
the only lined and interfaced piece is the yoke..
skirt is constructed from 5 pieces
and i really like the shape of it
(and i don’t remember ever making a similar one)
