Description

I made this dress to wear to a friend’s wedding. I didn’t leave myself much time so didn’t quite complete the whole thing. I broke down the pattern into 3 separate parts:the top, the underdress, and the skirt. I haven’t finished the skirt, but wore as is.

I finished the lining of the dress such that it can be worn inside out…if only I had a reversible zipper in my stash…but i didn’t so it is a tad awkward to put on inside out!

I put some more details on my blog

Material Notes

Both fabrics are from op-shops. The floral is kind of silky, the pink looks like it could have been curtain material.

Beautiful work. Looks like it would be a challenge and fun at the same time. The floral print on the reverse side is a very pleasant surprise. Great job.
