little black shrug! I took the easy root and just serged the seems cutting off the allowance, I then sergged a binding across the bottom and around the neckline, I also shortened the sleeves about 4 inches and turned them under with 1 icnh wide elastic!!!! This whole thing took less than an hour!

I wanted to make something more casual, not a dress! You’ve inspired me! Was the knit difficult to work with?

nope super easy.. just zipped it up on the serger in 10 minuets and used self fabric to bind it, fold a 2 inch strip in half and serge to raw edge….

AND you added buttons! Nicely done – I’ve printed the pattern out and will give it a try tonight.

Very cute! I’ve made Esther and I love it(have to stop myself from wearing everyday) but would like something shorter so thisis next when the right fabric pops up of course.

Hey, how awesome are you and your creation! The ruffled sleeves with the elastic are such a good idea. So much more fun than the original. BTW, what kind of wall are you standing in front. Is that wall paper?

I like it a lot! I need a cardigan-type thing to throw on over jeans & t-shirt and I’m tryna decide whether to make this one or Esther.

Now that you mention it, i see your undies :))
Good thing the shrug is in the center of attention, it desires it! Cool!
