Reggio Emilia, I...
i made this shirt inspired to the tipical northern Albany women’s clothes.
They wear all in white cotton, with a corean collar shirt, a pair of harem trousers and a huge gathered skirt over them. Then, they add a black apron and a black vest, all embroidered with colored threads…soooo beautiful!
I tried to make something similar, adding the decorative buttons on the collar and embroidering the front with all the stitches of my new sewing machine…a great opportunity of experimenting! I used an antique shirting hand-wowen cotton.
