Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I really like the low back long sleeve dresses at american apparel but I really don’t like the fabric they use. I decided to make a similar dress out of a nice pink jersey but I made it a bit looser and shortened the sleeves a bit. Im really happy with the way it came out considering Ive never made sleeves before (which is really hard without a pattern!)

Amazing photography and (more importantly) amazing dress! I love the colour and the cut has just enough bias to it to fall perfectly. The sleeves turns out really well too. Love it!

I created the whole thing myself but it was just my first time making sleeves ;)

I just looked up the basic shape they were supposed to be and then tried it out on paper to see if it would fit when pinned. From there it was completely trial and error..I was lucky it actually wasnt that difficult just a couple adjustments did it..not sure if that really helps im sure there is an easier and better way to do it but this was my first time! :)

haha yeah shes 16- I always use her as my model because I love taking the photographs and luckily were basically the same size
