You may wonder why someone would want to make shorts in the middle of winter (it is winter in North America right now, at least). Well, I actually began making these over two years ago and for some reason packed up the pieces and forgot about them until recently. One of my New Years resolutions was to finish unfinished projects so I decided to finally work on these shorts again. I was worried they wouldn’t fit because I cut the pieces so long ago but they fit great! The back pockets are fake, just flaps. Too bad it’ll be a couple months before I can wear them outside.

you should try it. these were my first pair I made and they were far less difficult than I thought they would be. the hardest part was the zipper but I think the pattern illustrations do a good job of explaining it.
