This is the second time I’ve ever used a pattern and I love the way it turned out! The waist was too high for me (I’m just under 5’3) and my torso just got lost so I shortened the waist and am pleased with the outcome! I also shortened the length so it would fall just about my knees.
100% wool, red and black diagonal stripes
*I only needed one yard of this fabric, though I’m not totally sure how wide it was. I now have an extra half yard- maybe I’ll make a vest or something :)

I love your skirt – great job you did. I am bit short myself and know about shortening patterns :)
