I needed some pants in half lenght for my tap dance and hip hop dance classes because I use to trip over the hem of my usual pants (too long…). These are made from Burda pattern #8236. Quite easy and really comfy. Ok, maybe they don’t look very flattering but I don’t care because I need them comfy to stretch my legs and move around.
For the waistband and the hems on the legs I took a special fabric (I don’t know the english word for it – in german it’s “Bündchen”), it is an elastic fabric to make hems and waistbands. Thus, I didn’t need to care about a string in the waistband to keep the pants up ; )
Sweatshirt fabric (outside smooth, inside soft)
