I found the fabric at the markets and decided to make a blue and red outfit.
The top is a basic kimono. I played around with the back and decided to lower it.
The shorts are simple high waisted shorts. This is my second go at making these style of shorts. I think I will be making a few more of these… possibly in black so that I can pull out my exciting stockings for the colder months.
If interested, I have more images on my blog ficklesense.blogspot.com/

thanks for the comment. No it is not from a bought pattern as I am currently designing my own patterns. I am trying to learn as MUCH as possible, so every project features a new technique. On this occasion, it was the kimono…and the shorts! thanks again

Love the color combination of pinky red with navy blue! I also like the way it sits on your shoulder. very chic.
