Description

I used the Folkwear 113 pattern for this project. I picked this pattern because the sleeves are done in a very traditional style. The length of my robe is quite a bit shorter than a kimono since it is going to be just a bathrobe. I also eliminated the center back seam and the front seam since I was using a 45" wide fabric instead of authentic kimono fabric which is very narrow. The belt is just a black cotton sash 2″×84″. I also added a hanging loop at the center back of the neckband.
