The first item I’ve sewn in 15 years. (Kids can be quite distracting!) my first attempt at a jacket with a collar or with lining. It took me weeks to make. I took my time and enjoyed the process even though I couldn’t understand half the instructions! I’m very pleased with how it turned out and thankfully it fits well and is comfortable to wear.
I didn’t use twill as it was very expensive and I wasn’t sure if I could actually manage to make the jacket and didn’t want to spend a fortune on fabric. I love the lining fabric, it was a gift from my husband that was purchased in tokyo. 3 euro a metre!!
