As soon as I saw the tutorial for fabric covered shoes on Burdastyle I wanted to try it. For my practice pair I used a pair of second hand wedges and the material from a second hand skirt.
I really enjoyed this project. The only difficulty was making sure that the fabric was as smooth as possible, especially around the toe area.
I’m really pleased with the way they turned out and I’m on the lookout for another pair of shoes so I can do it again soon.
I have more photos and a detailed post on my blog.
