A Burda style pattern of a shirt with buttons, cuffs and a tie neck instead of a collar.
Love this poly cotton fabric with stripes and achors but its kind of stiff. I am also making this in a fine pink silk and so it should sit very nicely if i can figure out how to sew it without munching up the fabric.
I really like this fit on me with just enough room in the arms. The pattern had hidden front buttons (I made a mistake so went for ordinary placket ) and long cuffs which were meant to be folded in half. Again, I took the easier way.
I ran out of fabric by the time i made it to the tie, so i added black bits to the end and made the tie half the width of the pattern.
