Shirt, vest, tie, coat made by me for Halloween 2009. All fabric came from the remnants table at a fabric shop so I don’t know the fiber content. No patterns were used since I realized that I achieve twice better results in half the time if I just make stuff up.

Thank you. I did too, until it ended up in the trunk of my husband’s car and got stained beyond repair :( Sadly, the jacket is no more.

Thanks! I think it was the most fun part. Not pictured: my husband pretending to snipe our neighbors with his “ray-gun” (which totally lights up and makes pewpewpew noise).

Thanks. I had to take some cues (especially around the shoulder area) from a ready-made jacket because I’m not familiar with sewing for men (these things are my first example of men’s sewing) but other than that I pretty much made it up as I went along.
