Description

I refashioned a man’s dress shirt into this romper for my little guy. The pocket is now on the right side of the leg. i’m really happy with the result and will probably make more (especially if I find more shirts like this, that cost me less than $1…)
The pattern is Butterick 4791 view E with cropped legs and no elastic around them

Material Notes

crinkled cotton

Love this. He looks so cute. Would love to know the pattern you used. These would be perfect for my new grandson.

Thanks! ti was Butterick 4791. I think it’s out of print, I got it at an odd drawer of patterns at jo-ann.

Great job! I would love to know what pattern you used as several co-workers are having baby boys and all I have been sewing is girl stuff and they want some of these outfits. Can’t wait to get the pattern and get started.

Thank you! It’s Butterick 4791. Totally worth it, as there are several patterns in the envelope. It’s hard to find cute stuff for boys, and this was so easy!

Thank you! I love how it fits him, because it’s loose around his tummy, so very comfortable, and he loves the pocket, where he keeps his little toy cars.
