an old shirt of mine had an unfortunate run-in with some bleach. i thought it was forever relegated to the ‘paint shirt’ drawer when i was hit with an inspiration: slice a piece off an old lace tablecloth i had lying around and slap it on there. i finished it with two sweet little buttons from my button jar. maybe not the most complicated of projects, but a quick and easy fix that made the shirt wear-able again (and wickedly cute under a red velvet blazer…)
