I made this top in a hunter green broadcloth from Joanns. I hand washed the fabric and air dried it so I hope it doesn’t shrink after the first washing. I might continue to hand wash it. It was very easy to make. Next time I make it I will enclose the collar in the tie band. The pattern calls for bias binding around the neck and then sewing the tie band into that.
