Made during a sewing workshop I took (because I had never sewn before!!)

    So floaty and pretty – it’s really cute! I bet it would go really well with gladiator sandals… (Note to self: stop coveting other peoples’ dresses to the point you mentally accessorise them!)

    Cool, I"d like to design a dress like that, but I can’t figure out how wide to make the bodice and skirt. About how much wider (percentage) than you was the cloth before you started gathering it at the waist? (Was it twice as wide as the final dress?)
