After many many tries I mastered the technique of elastic tread! I was so excited to find and buy a roll of 1km, yeah you read correctly, elastic tread. Now I won’t get anxious with the tiny ones of 10m they sell in stores.
I made this dress as a back up, in case the one I made as a gift for a dear friend of mine, was too small for her, but, lucky me, it wasn’t, so I got to keep it!
I sew the fabric together with the lining and the result was very good. I also did french seams on the sides.
In the last pic it’s the version I made for my friend.
Light fabric, elastic thread, regular thread, lining.
The results are in! Check out our winning submission.
